Tracy Toyota is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Full-Time Cashier / Receptionist who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow with our Service Department. This is a highly customer-facing position that plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our service customers from the moment they call or arrive at the dealership through the completion of their visit.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can confidently multitask, and is willing to learn. Our ideal candidate is organized, dependable, punctual, comfortable working with both technology and physical paperwork, and enjoys helping customers.
Our preferred schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.
What You'll Do

Cash out and assist customers at the completion of their service and/or parts visits

Complete a nightly cash and check deposit which is to be brought to the accounting department the following business day

Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with service-related questions

Schedule service appointments and assist customers using our online scheduling system

Direct calls to the appropriate department or team member when necessary

Close and process repair orders using CDK (our dealership management system)

Enter and maintain accurate customer and repair order/invoice information

Review, organize, and process service and parts department paperwork

Stamp paperwork with the appropriate dates and ensure required documents are properly signed

Un-staple, organize, and scan repair orders and invoices into CDK

Communicate with the Parts Department regarding recall repairs, parts availability, and estimated timelines for scheduling customers

Assist customers with questions regarding their service appointments and help direct them to the appropriate resources

Learn the basics of the automotive service industry in order to better assist customers

Maintain a professional, welcoming, and helpful attitude with every customer

Perform other administrative and customer-service duties as needed
- 1+ year of dealership experience preferred, or 1 to 2 years of cashier, receptionist, or customer service experience

Strong customer service and communication skills

You do not need to know everything about automotive service to be successful in this position. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, ask questions, and become familiar with the basics of our service and dealership operations.
