COMMERCIAL IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN (LEVEL 1-8)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Advanced Environmental Landscape (AEL) has been providing commercial landscape and irrigation services throughout Southern California for over 30 years. We are seeking experienced Commercial Irrigation Technicians to join our growing Irrigation Division.
Our company services apartment communities, HOA properties, commercial centers, industrial properties, and other commercial facilities throughout Southern California.
Position Summary
The Commercial Irrigation Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving commercial irrigation systems while providing excellent service and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues
- Install and repair mainlines, lateral lines, valves, sprinklers, and drip irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic irrigation problems
- Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers
- Perform valve locating, wire tracing, and system diagnostics
- Complete work orders and document repairs using company software
- Maintain inventory and track materials used
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, property managers, and team members
- Assist with emergency irrigation repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Commercial irrigation repair experience preferred
- Knowledge of mainlines, lateral lines, valves, sprinklers, drip irrigation, and controllers
- Ability to troubleshoot irrigation system failures independently
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and controller diagnostics preferred
- Ability to use smartphones, tablets, and work order software
- Valid California Driver License
- Good driving record with a minimum of 3 years driving history
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Overtime opportunities available
Company Vehicle
Company vehicle provided during working hours for qualified employees. Employees report to our Rancho Cucamonga office each morning and utilize company vehicles throughout the workday. Company vehicles are not provided for take-home use.
