Full Job Description

Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse provides specialized cardiac and critical care to patients in a full‑time role near Wichita, Kansas. The position supports interdisciplinary collaboration, patient monitoring, and education while fostering growth for new graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients with acute cardiac conditions.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.

Operate and interpret cardiac monitoring equipment, telemetry, and other critical care devices.

Respond quickly to emergencies and provide life‑saving interventions.

Document patient progress and communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team.

Educate patients and families on cardiac care, recovery plans, and preventive measures.

Mentor new graduates with hands‑on guidance in the CCU setting.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Open to new graduates seeking full‑time CCU opportunities.
