Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when needed, ensuring all food handling and serving protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere in nightclubs or other entertainment venues, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or server in fine dining, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings; previous retail math or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling, cashiering, and basic math for transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in high-volume environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training; understanding of food handling procedures is essential.
- Experience with brewing or beverage preparation is advantageous; knowledge of alcohol serving regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is required.
