The Case Aide supports Family Services staff by assisting with case management activities and providing administrative support to the team.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: One year childcare
1. Support to Family Services Team Members

Assist Case Managers with intakes; discharges; visit transportation, supervision & documentation; and collection/processing of paperwork from caregivers
-
Assist After Care Case Manager in providing pantry items to clients; pantry maintenance; and in clientserving events
-
Assist Neighborhood in processing grocery orders and expense reports
2. Administrative Support to Family Services Team

Assist with ensuring paperwork is filed/processed
-
Perform weekly updates on: General Placement Search; Licensing List; Foster Home Contact List; Background Check List; and Outreach Spreadsheet

Assist with Medicaid applications
Position requires frequent travel to client locations.

General knowledge and understanding of the needs of clients served by the agency

Ability to assess child safety needs and ensure child safety in family visits

Strong communication skills verbal and written and ability to tailor communications to client needs

Working knowledge of (or the ability to learn) Minimum Standards and DFPS Standards

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Clear Drug Screen, Background Check, Driving Record; Valid Texas Driver’s License held for at least two years
This is a part-time position expected to work about 20-24 h/week. Hours will generally be 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
