Residential Direct Care Staff in Philadelphia, PA
PART WEEK POSITION OPEN -MUST BE AVAIABLE WEEKENDS!
FRIDAY - SUNDAY
DRIVERS LICENSE, RELIABLE TRANSPORTAION AND INSURANCE REQUIRED
The Agency is currently seeking Residential Direct Care Staff who will provide direct care, supervision, and support to adults with ID at our Residential Homes in Philadelphia, PA.
Must have:
- CPR Certification
- High School diploma
- Valid Drivers License
Residential Direct Care Staff
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in the community by providing creative support through a variety of tasks, activities and/or community engagement.
· Provide personal care when indicated.
· Provide the highest quality of care to individuals in helping them meet their needs.
· Handling general housekeeping and meal preparation including but not limited to, cleaning floors, furniture, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, making beds and doing laundry etc.
· Assisting with all activities of daily living
· Encouraging individuals to participate in community activities
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
· One-year direct care experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required.
- CPR Certification is Required
- Current valid driver’s license is required.
· Acceptable criminal record and background checks in accordance with state requirements, required
