About Pak Mail
Pak Mail shipping centers are full-service packing, shipping, and business services stores. We pack and ship items both small and large, from simple items in envelopes and padded mailers to artwork and furniture in custom crates. We partner with UPS, FedEx, the United States Postal Service, DHL, and many freight carriers to offer our customers the best option for their shipment.

Core Responsibilities
The Retail and Shipping Sales Associate is responsible for understanding the customer’s requirements and then offering the best solution to meet their needs.

- Utilizing the point-of-sale to collect customer and shipment information, select the appropriate shipping option, and process payment
- Guiding the customer on product selection
- Packing items for shipment
- Helping customers with printing, copying, faxing, and scanning
- Communicating with customers in-person, on the phone, and through email
- Sorting and processing mail
- Executing daily opening and closing activities
- Understanding and maintaining familiarity with shipping offerings and carrier requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- with both customers and co-workers
- The ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift
- The ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- The ability to operate print/copy/scan/fax functionality on a copier
- Basic data entry skills, and the ability to capture customer information into the point-of-sale as it is spoken
- Willingness to become a Notary Public in Kent County, Michigan
Training
Paid, on-the-job training will be provided.
Hours and Compensation
We are looking for one full time employee that can work 15-30 hours per week and can potentially develop into a store manager. We are open 9:00-6:00 Monday-Friday and 10:00-4:00 on Saturday. Various performance-based pay is available on top of the base hourly rate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
