Bakery Express Maintenance Technician (3rd shift / Tues-Sat / 9pm-5:30am)
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize line efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to perform daily maintenance tasks and provide reliable production support. The technician will respond promptly to line calls, prioritize work to support production demands, monitor machine performance, and implement long-term corrective solutions for recurring issues. A craftsman mindset, sound judgment, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. Prior experience in a bakery or a food production environment is highly beneficial, along with hands-on experience maintaining equipment such as industrial ovens, conveyors, mixing bowls, proofers, boilers, wrappers, and fryers.
Responsibilities
- Accurately documenting preventive maintenance task (PMs) and work orders in MTX (MaintainX), our CMMS.
- Strict adherence to safety standards including LOTO procedures, PPE requirements, GMP guidelines, and Food safety is required at all times.
- Requires clear shift-to-shift communication, participation in the on-call hierarchy when necessary, and maintaining clean, organized work areas and tools.
- Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with a strong background in Bakery equipment maintenance (Ovens, Fryers, Proofers, Mixers)
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment is helpful.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or with in team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.

Pay: $26.50 - $30.00 per hour
