Duties
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, laptops, desktops, printers, copiers, and other consumer electronics using hand tools and soldering techniques.
- Perform software troubleshooting across various operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and others to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct hardware diagnostics to identify faults related to hardware components such as screens, batteries, motherboards, and connectors.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for smartphone (troubleshooting support), mobile devices, printers, copiers, and other electronic equipment.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products and accessories while explaining features and benefits to enhance their user experience.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions to ensure quality control and follow-up support.
- Support IT-related tasks such as basic desktop computer repair, hardware maintenance, and technical support to ensure optimal device performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in consumer electronics repair or a related field involving hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, Windows; familiarity with software troubleshooting is essential.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools for electronic repairs as well as electrical soldering techniques for circuit board repairs.
- Ability to perform mobile phone repair including screen replacements, battery swaps, and connector repairs.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to provide clear technical support and solutions.
- Experience with printer and copier repair or other equipment repair is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
