Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Shift Manager to lead our service team through busy hours with confidence and enthusiasm. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise service & culinary staff during assigned shifts, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage daily store functions including hospitality, training, and quality control
- Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering procedures to ensure accuracy and security
Qualifications
- TABC & ServSafe Certified
- Working knowledge of Beer & Pizza
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant hospitality, F&B, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial conversations confidently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated organizational skills with a focus on time management and operational excellence
- Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations including pricing, discounts, and sales analysis
- Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail store product knowledge is advantageous
