We are accepting resumes for vigilant and proactive unarmed and armed Security Officers to safeguard facilities, assets, and personnel at multiple locations throughout Tarrant County, Texas. All Texas Level II, III, and IV licensees are welcome to apply. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, access control, and emergency response procedures. Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or hazards and perform physical security checks
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing emergency response procedures
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy
- Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining compliance with security regulations
Qualifications
- Texas Level II, III, IV License(s)
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and access control systems
- Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely when required
- Strong understanding of physical security practices including patrolling, loss prevention techniques, and incident report writing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations is essential
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly in high-pressure situations
