We are seeking an experienced Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) to join our team. This part-time, role focuses on providing high-quality, community-based support for individuals navigating mental health challenges or substance use disorders. You will play a pivotal role in empowering clients through care coordination and functional skill-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Care Coordination: Manage and monitor client progress, ensuring seamless communication between clinical teams, families, and community resources.
- Skill-Building: Implement evidence-based interventions to help clients develop daily living skills, emotional regulation, and social competencies.
- Community Support: Provide services within the community setting to help clients integrate and maintain stability in their natural environments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) standards.
- Advocacy: Act as a liaison for clients to ensure they receive necessary medical, social, and educational services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education/Experience: * A Bachelor’s degree in a human services field OR * At least three (3) years of documented experience in behavioral health.
- Credentials: Must possess a current Medicaid Provider Number and an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Expertise: "Experienced" level background in mental health or substance use disorder services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote communication tools.
- Location: Must be based in or able to serve the Ohio region.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
- Type: Part-Time.
