Janitorial Project Technician – 1st Shift

Schedule: Flexible 1st Shift (5 days/week) 8am-4 pm
Pay: $16.50/hour (based on experience)
Must report to Abrams office at times
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and professional Janitorial Lead Floor Tech to join our team. This role involves specialized cleaning tasks, customer interaction, and occasional supervisory responsibilities. If you’re experienced with janitorial equipment and enjoy working independently and as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks: auto scrubbing, carpet cleaning, VCT work, window washing, power washing, post-construction cleanup
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Train new employees and assist with orientations
- Maintain inventory logs and conduct workplace inspections
- Troubleshoot issues and support other supervisors and staff as needed
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Follow company policies, procedures, and employee handbook
Qualifications
- Janitorial experience preferred
- Experience with cleaning equipment and techniques required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with scheduling
- Supervisory experience is a plus
