A successful glass contractor serving the Beckley area since 1965 is seeking to hire a full-time Glazier to work directly with our Commercial Storefront Department. If you have the required skills and experience in the glass industry we would love the opportunity to talk with you about joining our team.
- Installation of glass, mirror, plastics and storefront products
- Cut and prepare glass, mirrors and materials to specs
- Knowledge of commercial door hardware and how to repair
- Cutting and processing glass
- Minimum experience of three years in the glass industry
- Knowledge of industry standards in regard to handling of glass from smaller pieces to large sheet sizes
- Knowledge of industry standards in regard to setting of glass
- Knowledge of commercial door repair
- Knowledge of methods of securing glass products, such as by using mastic, silicone, putty, bolts, nails and screws
- Knowledge of measuring for and installation of shower enclosures
- Experience with safely and professionally removing broken glass
- Experience with grinding, polishing and smoothing edges of glass, mirror and plastics
- Ability to cut and assemble products for residential, commercial and industrial projects
- Must be motivated and a team player
- Occasional overnight and/or weekly travel as required
