We're partnering with a client company to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time remote position with benefits.
Location: Remote. Near New York with occasional travel to sites in New York
Salary: $60,000 - $120,000/year
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred, EI (Engineer Intern) certification a plus
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the construction industry
- Occasional travel throughout NY to various job sites
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC building systems.
- Proficiency with BIM software, preferably Revit.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of applicable Building, Energy, and Mechanical Codes for the state of New York
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
