The Henry & William Evans Home is seeking a compassionate, motivated Independent Living Coordinator to help prepare youth for successful adulthood while serving as part of our residential care team.
Responsibilities
- Teach independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, employment readiness, transportation, and household management.
- Develop and monitor individualized Independent Living Plans.
- Mentor and support youth in achieving personal, educational, and career goals.
- Work alongside direct care staff to reinforce life skills through daily activities.
- Provide direct supervision and support during assigned shifts.
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with schools, caseworkers, and community partners.
Schedule
- This is a full-time position that requires afternoon and evening availability, with occasional weekend hours as needed to support youth programming and residential operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred (relevant experience considered).
- Experience working with youth, foster care, or residential programs preferred
- Minimum 1 year working with youth required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background checks.
This full-time position combines direct care with life skills instruction in a supportive, team-oriented environment dedicated to helping youth build successful futures.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
