Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs .
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Execute electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Engage in residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks for optimal efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with facility users.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including Plumbing knowledge.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with previous supervising experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A customer service-oriented mindset to address facility user needs promptly.
