Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD/Programmer to join our dynamic team of stone fabrication experts. As a CAD/Programmer, you will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into detailed digital models and executing CNC programming for our state-of-the-art machinery. Your technical expertise will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our stone products, meeting client specifications, and driving the continued success of our business. If you have no direct experience, we are open to training the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
- · Adapt 2D drawings from laser templates using the AutoCAD program
- · Responsible for accurate programming and machine operation
- · Facilitates a steady workflow on all CNC’s striving to maximize run time and table space
- · Assist in tool maintenance
- · Constantly evaluating the quality of the finished product coming off the CNC through visual inspection and use of measurement tools
- · Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- · Confer with design staff to determine design requirements, modifications, and issues
- · Work independently with minimal supervision
- · Maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records and documentation per company policies
- · Assist on interpreting shop drawings
- · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- · Check square footage of each job for material usage
- · Work on multiple projects and multi-task proficiently
- · Communicate effectively with Sales, Template Technician, Production and Customers so jobs proceed smoothly and efficiently
