Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of therapy techniques including Ultrasound, Manual Therapy, shockwave and other health treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and preferences.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs, explain procedures, and provide guidance on post-treatment care.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up therapies or exercises to support ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining equipment properly.
- Stay informed about the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and pain management strategies through continuous education.
Skills
- Proven experience in various patient care settings.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles relevant to massage therapy.
- Ability to build rapport with clients through attentive listening and personalized care.
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and client communication best practices.
