Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Parts Sales Manager to lead our parts sales operations and drive growth within our organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase parts sales revenue and market share.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the parts sales department, including order processing, inventory control, and customer service.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and maintain optimal inventory levels using ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficient shipping logistics, freight management, and compliance with transportation safety regulations.
- Lead team management efforts by training staff on product knowledge, process improvement initiatives, and safety protocols such as forklift operation and materials handling.
- Analyze sales data and supply chain analytics to identify trends, improve pricing strategies, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all aspects of transportation management, international trade regulations, and warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or warehouse operations within a logistics company or related industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, procurement, and category management principles.
- Technical proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), warehouse management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of transportation planning, road transportation operations, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for decision-making purposes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety compliance under transportation safety regulations.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities involving sourcing, dispatching, order fulfillment, packaging, and international trade regulations.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with effective communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
