Full-Time Welder at Safety Zone Calf Catchers

Job Description: We seek a full-time welder to contribute to our manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating components for our calf catchers according to specifications and quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong welding skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on materials and specifications
- Weld and fabricate components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
- Inspect welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Welding certification or relevant training is preferred but not required
