Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs

- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent food service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven culinary experience in restaurant settings, demonstrating strong food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and cooking methods across various cuisines
- Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and catering is a plus
