Position Summary:
The TCS SCM Coordinator oversees the supply chain for Hanwha Convergence's Tracker Control System (TCS) products in the U.S. market. The TCS products are designed for use in PV power plants utilizing solar trackers across both utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) scale markets. The coordinator works closely with global teams to maintain the supply chain pipeline, while also managing domestic manufacturing activities. This role engages directly with customers to ensure timely deliveries and reliable supply across all project sites. Success requires an agile individual capable of responding quickly to evolving requirements and regulatory changes in the renewable energy market. This position will be based at our customer's facility to allow for a close partnership between teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for materials and project-related tasks within the role's scope to support overall business objectives.
- Coordinate international and domestic supply chain activities across internal and external cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with customers to maintain demand pipelines and oversee product deliveries.
- Develop, manage, and oversee customer RMA processes.
- Visit customer sites when needed to support supply chain logistics and RMA activities in field.
- Plan and manage inventory levels across the supply chain to meet specified targets.
- Monitor and manage inventory and future pipeline needs to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Provide regular supply chain status updates to key stakeholders.
- Travel to manufacturers and suppliers to evaluate facilities and meet with operational personnel.
- Support onboarding of new suppliers and manufacturers.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate strong self‑motivation.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, support financial goals, and mitigate risks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Degree in Supply Chain, or similar study with 3+ years or related experience.
- Reasonable (3-5 years) experience within the supply chain field.
- Proven expertise in supply chain coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, scheduling applications, and working knowledge of EDI and order placement systems.
- Ability to identify, comprehend and apply common engineering standards & practices (MS SSP, API, ANSI, ASME)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks using sound judgment.
- Professional experience in a multi-national company preferred.
- Independent, self‑motivated professional capable of representing company values to customers and suppliers.
Physical & other Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated at a desk) for extended periods of time.
- Frequent operation of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through video conferencing.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze information on screens and in printed materials.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift office materials and supplies up to 20 pounds.
- Visual and auditory acuity necessary to perform job functions in a typical office environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional office setting with regular use of standard office equipment.
- Fast paced with priorities that often change to meet current priorities.
- Travel to customer sites is required, and the ability to travel internationally with a valid passport.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the USA and prepared to travel abroad
COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $125,000 salary
