We are looking for a reliable Medical Assistant to join our growing team at Wilson Family Practice. We are a locally owned, private practice located in Boonville, Indiana. We are looking for someone that is compassionate to help take excellent care of our patients. This position is 32-36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Triaging patients
- Manage provider nursing calls
- Administer injections
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
Skills
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Venipuncture
