Colonial Terminals, Inc., a subsididary of Colonial Group Inc., is seeking an experienced and safety-focused E&I Specialist to support our liquid bulk terminal operations. You’ll help keep six product-handling and storage facilities running by performing electrical and control systems maintenance in a dynamic industrial environment.
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $38/hr - 43/hr + Bonus + Full Benefits
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), including motors, VFDs, transformers, and PLCs
- Install or replace wiring, conduit, control components, sensors, and instrumentation
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on terminal systems including lighting, RTUs, and automated controls
- Support pneumatic and hydraulic system repairs
- Collaborate with team members during facility upgrades and shutdowns
- Respond to on-call support one week per month
- Follow and enforce LOTO, confined space, arc flash, and NFPA 70E safety standards
- Maintain inspection and maintenance records through digital work order systems
What You Bring
- 3+ years of industrial E&I experience (terminals, plants, or heavy equipment preferred)
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical control systems, wiring, schematics, and conduit bending
- Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, RTUs, motors, and instrumentation
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED
- TWIC card or ability to obtain
- HVAC/Electrical certifications or military maintenance background a plus
