Penn Pallet is currently hiring for someone to join our 3rd shift. Offering a great starting rate $18.00 / hour with weekly production incentive. This employee would have the following responsibilities / job duties:
- Pallet repair consists of recycling pallets that come into the facility, removing old material from a pallet and replacing that with new, useable material to ensure the pallet is a useable, saleable product.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to follow guidelines set by manager
- Ability to lift, twist and bend for duration of shift
- Ability to utilize tools such as pneumatic nailer, hammer, crowbar, saws
- Ability to access visual the repairs needed on a pallet
- Willing to work in varied temperatures
- Ability to work at a pace that is productive
Education & Experience
- Experience in wood industry helpful, but not needed. Willingness to learn position
