Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Builder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality custom cabinets and woodworking products that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction techniques will ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on custom residential projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to create functional and beautiful cabinetry that exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build custom cabinets and related woodwork.
- Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry components.
- Measure and mark materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment during fabrication and installation.
- Assemble cabinetry components with attention to detail, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Install finished cabinets on-site.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials such as wood construction materials.
- Collaborate with project managers meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards; interpret construction plans accurately for each job.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and power tool safety procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels), power tools for woodworking (drills, sanders), and woodworking machines (table saws, routers).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in fabrication and assembly processes.
- Experience is not required, but will make you stand out upon receiving resumes! You must be experienced in reading a tape measurer.
