We are seeking an energetic, faith-filled, and visionary Head of Performing Arts & Student Events to lead our vibrant performing arts ministry and school events program at our Christian private school. This dynamic role is responsible for developing and overseeing a Christ-centered performing arts program that encourages students to use their God-given talents to glorify Him through music, theater, dance, visual arts, and creative expression.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the arts, a heart for Christian education, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate engaging school events that strengthen our school community while reflecting biblical values. As a key member of our leadership team, you will cultivate an environment where students grow spiritually, academically, and artistically while ensuring the successful planning and execution of performances, productions, chapel programs, and special events.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of all performing arts programs and student events, ensuring they align with the school's Christian mission, educational goals, and biblical values.
- Develop Christ-centered performances, theatrical productions, concerts, presentations, and cultural events that encourage creativity, excellence, and spiritual growth.
- Oversee the technical aspects of productions, including projection systems, theatrical lighting, sound systems, stage equipment, and other audiovisual technology to deliver high-quality performances.
- Coordinate rehearsals, performances, workshops, and competitions across various disciplines, including theater, dance, music, choir, and visual arts.
- Plan and manage school-wide events such as graduation, open houses, Christmas and Easter programs, family nights, fundraisers, talent shows, fine arts showcases, and community outreach events.
- Manage event logistics and production timelines while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and professionalism.
- Foster a Christ-centered environment that encourages students to discover and develop their God-given gifts while promoting teamwork, integrity, respect, and servant leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Theater, Music, Arts Education, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred experience in performing arts leadership, theatrical production management, event planning, or arts education.
- Preferred experience working in a Christian school, church ministry, or faith-based educational environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating projection systems, lighting, sound equipment, and audiovisual technology.
- Demonstrated ability to teach or mentor students in visual and performing arts while encouraging creativity and artistic excellence.
- Preferred experience in theater production, music, choir, dance (including ballet), or multiple performing arts disciplines is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, faculty.
- A passion for mentoring young people and helping students grow academically, artistically, spiritually, and personally.
