Beat the summer heat and work in Montana! We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to fill our Hospitality Head of Maintenance position, and work through the end of October- at our hotel in southwest Montana! Small hotel room with refrigerator and microwave provided for lodging while working, and candidate must have their own form of transportation. No pets are allowed at anytime. Flexible hours and schedule. This pivotal role involves overseeing all maintenance operations across our hospitality property, ensuring the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction. You will drive proactive strategies, and coordinate complex projects to maintain a seamless guest experience. Your expertise in maintenance, light drywall and painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and facilities management will be instrumental in elevating our service quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee the repair and upkeep of HVAC systems, electrical networks—and mechanical infrastructure.
- Coordinate a large-scale project related to an upcoming renovation in the Fall, and oversee new installations with internal teams or external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to electrical work and mechanical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within the hospitality or manufacturing sectors. Some management experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, light electrical experience, mechanical systems, light drywall and painting, light plumbing skills, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters.
- Experience with pool and spa systems.

Pay: $24.59 - $29.61 per hour
