SUMMARY
Receives and inspects incoming material. Completes and maintains reports, including printing & verification of receiver information. Maintains storage and loading areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by manager.

Assists in coordination of incoming and outgoing traffic flow.

Responsible for maintaining storage areas.

Responsible for following all safety precautions.

Receive and perform visual inspection of incoming material for damage and imperfections, utilizing scanning capabilities as instructed.

Perform micrometer reading, Rockwell & TYE testing as required.
-
NMR reporting for suspect incoming material. Notifying Quality Department.

Verification of all incoming truck information with receiver, separate and distribute to proper department.

Receive outside material as required. Verify information. Print and distribute proper paper work to appropriate department.

Stand up eye to sky coils as needed.

Transfer coils necessary for production to all work center staging areas.

Transfer coils from staging areas to press for production.

Re-list coils as needed from presses.

Responsible for update of material locations as needed.

Assist the shipping department when necessary.

Maintains safe work environment by following 5S standards.

Communicate all discrepancies to appropriate department.

Understanding and working knowledge of all job-related Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.

Responsible for scheduling incoming material, and inspecting material for damage/water/edge/etc.

Responsible for checking accuracy of Receivers/Paperwork.

Responsible for quality of work, accuracy, neatness and timeliness.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
HiLo and Crane licenses required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Also has ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
