Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Turn units and make ready for new move-ins.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs using various tools and techniques.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as required to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Perform basic electrical repairs in units.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs in units.
- Carpentry work experience work is a plus.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair work.
- Familiarity with supervising teams or individuals in a maintenance environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including Ohmmeters, for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Sheetrock repair/patching experience and painting experience preferred
