Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in skilled trade preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of job-related experience in a skilled nursing environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to maintenance and environmental services in a long-term care environment.
- Position may include late hours, weekend work, and overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Performs various duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors in compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations.
- Demonstrates competence in application of mechanical and technical concepts to facility plant repair and maintenance projects.
- Maintains all essential mechanical, electrical, and patient care equipment in safe operating condition and in compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies.
