Essential Job duties include:
- Applicant must be able to exude confidence, manage a classroom, prioritize duties, exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal and critical-thinking skills to communicate ideas while analyzing and solving student concerns
- Applicant must be highly motivated with a passion for student success, ability to multi-task, highly organized and adaptable
- Applicant must exude strong presentation skills with the ability to relate to various types of students and learning styles
- Ability to teach techniques and skills in both a classroom and student spa environment.
- Present, update and implement curriculum by instructing new advancements in the appearance enhancement field.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Accurately maintain program and student records.
- Responsible for adhering to a well-structured lesson plan.
- Regular, reliable attendance which adheres to assigned work schedule including proper log in/log out for time recording
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicant must have current NYS Esthetics License.
- Applicant must provide documentation of 2 years of full-time employment as a NYS licensed esthetician or 4 years of part-time employment.
- Computer Skills : proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Powerpoint (creating and editing presentations).
- Writing and Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate with students, co-workers and managers.
- Must have basic knowledge of the internet and social media outlets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- Teaching or Training experience a plus
- Spanish speaking a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
