We are actively recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time positions at a state-operated geriatric skilled nursing and long-term care services located in Columbia, South Carolina. Your expertise and leadership will help ensure high-quality care for those in need.
These competitive positions offer premium pay and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment in accordance with the contract.
Job Details:
- Full-time schedule, 36 hours (three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
- 12-hour day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and 12-hour night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) positions available
- Mandatory onboarding for orientation and training for up to 8 days, first shift (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday, at the beginning of the assignment
License and Credentials Requirements:
- Current South Carolina or Compact LPN License
- At least one year of nursing experience (behavioral health preferred)
- Current CPR Certification, BLS - American Heart Association
- Current 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON
Primary Job Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments within scope
- Perform wound care and routine nursing procedures
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes
- Complete nursing documentation
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Supervise CNAs during assigned shifts
- Support implementation of resident care plans
