Purpose: The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing key customer relationships in the Aerospace and Defense Market. They act as the primary point of contact between the company and the client, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful program management. Ideal candidates will be adept at problem-solving, possess a technical background and have a strong desire to serve the customer. Although this is primarily an inside position, some travel will be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as primary point of contact for all customer requests
- Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of customer business and market trends
- Manages the quotation process for new parts
- Manages the onboarding of all new customer projects, coordinating with the Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure all new programs are launched on time and as intended.
- Works in conjunction with the Manufacturing, Operations and Quality teams to maintain long-term profitability, address customer concerns, and increase customer satisfaction.
- Uses the CRM database to maintain accurate contact, account, opportunity, and complaint records
- Uses the ERP system to enter, manage, and track customer orders
- Conduct periodic virtual or in-person meetings to determine requirements of new opportunities and to provide status of current accounts
- Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts to support company profit planning
- Support and contribute to organizational and customer focused continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of industry trends. Attendance at vendor meetings, industry trade shows, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in the industry or position with a track record of achieving results.
- Understanding of the A&D procurement process including regulations.

- Normal Schedule – 8 am to 5 pm; Monday thru Friday; May vary with business needs.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
