Job Overview
Major Brooklyn music venue is looking for a dynamic Booking Agent to join our team. As a Booking Agent, you will play a crucial role in recruiting new artists. You must be involved in the New York music scene, and have an established portfolio or roster of artists/bands who you can bring to the venue. You will also be responsible to vet and book bands / artists who have submitted their promotional materials to Brooklyn Music Kitchen. Must have experience and excellent organizational skills. Must be a self starter and team player. Scope of work includes corresponding with artists, responding to artist requests to perform, managing and performing all due diligence on artist fan base number, and expected turnout for each show. You will be expected to request promotional assets from each artist, and create a flyer. This is a lucrative position, and you will be paid on a commission basis.

- Utilize social media marketing strategies to promote talent and increase visibility in the market.
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for talent placement.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and communications.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00 - $900.00 per day
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
