Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and farm work, with hands-on experience with horses. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our facilities and the health of our animals.
We are a not for profit dedicated to horse rescue and rehabilitation. We also work with returning veterans.
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health..
- clean stalls, feed the barn cats, sweep, pick paddocks
- Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including animal enclosures and storage facilities.
Experience
- Proven experience in animal handling and care, particularly with equine or livestock.
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Experience using power tools effectively and safely.
