Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurants preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
