Position Overview
Brown Tank LLC, a leader in industrial storage tank construction, is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. In this critical role, you will support the movement, organization, and handling of materials at our industrial fabrication shop. Hours are from 5:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Organize and stage materials for delivery and installation.
- Ensure accurate labeling, inventory tracking, and organized storage of supplies.
- Collaborate with shop manager and to ensure timely material availability.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assist in receiving and inspecting materials for quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial construction or a related field.
- Certified forklift operator with hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of material handling best practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans or material lists (a plus).
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
