We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Teacher’s Assistant to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Teacher’s Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment for young children. This position includes assisting with classroom activities, supervision, daily routines, and helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
The ideal candidate is patient, nurturing, professional, and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
Classroom Support
- Assist with daily classroom activities and routines
- Support implementation of lesson plans and learning activities
- Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Assist children with transitions, meals, and restroom routines
- Encourage age-appropriate learning through play and interaction
Supervision & Safety
- Actively supervise children at all times
- Ensure children’s safety during indoor and outdoor activities
- Follow all center safety and emergency procedures
- Maintain proper classroom ratios and supervision standards
- Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and sanitized
Child Development & Behavior Support
- Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development
- Use positive guidance and redirection techniques
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Support children’s independence and confidence
Daily Care Responsibilities
- Assist with diapering and potty training as needed
- Help serve meals and snacks
- Support nap/rest time procedures
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing toys and classroom materials
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Childcare experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Must be dependable, patient, and professional
- Ability to work well with children, families, and team members
- Must pass background check requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and actively engage with children throughout the day

Pay: $13.54 - $16.50 per hour
