The West Hancock Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time paramedic to join our service.
Scheduling: 2 days on (48 hours), 4 days off (96 Hours) rotation

Responsibilities: Paramedic will be responsible for the delivery of patient care in pre-hospital setting according to the protocols established by the medical director and the Iowa State EMS scope of practice. Participates in quality monitoring checks and reporting daily. Education/training monthly for volunteering member group. We run on average 700 calls a year. We are the primary 911 service for western Hancock County in Iowa and do interfacility transfers from our local hospital.
Certification: Iowa paramedic certification ACLS, PALS and BLS current. Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, priority setting, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate well. Must be able to work well with other staff and supporting agencies.
