What You’ll Do
The Project Engineer supports manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with operational goals.
Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned)

Lead and manage manufacturing engineering projects from concept through implementation

Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies

Support process improvements, equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgrades

Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth project execution

Create andmaintainengineering documentation, specifications, and standard work

Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, cost reduction, efficiency gains)

Collaborate with Quality and Operations to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers

Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and results to stakeholders
What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field)

7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Experience managing engineering or capital projects

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, andtooling

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

Experience with automation, assembly processes, or equipment validation

Project management certification (PMP) a plus
