Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager specializing in Electronic Cable Assembly within the Wire Harness industry. In this pivotal role, you will lead manufacturing operations, oversee the assembly of complex wire harnesses and cable assemblies, and ensure that production processes meet quality standards and delivery deadlines. This role is a senior management position and requires 6 or more years of experience in a production or product-management role. Ensure on time deliveries and production schedules are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage production schedule for on-time completion
- Take an active role in factory production planning, including assigning proper resources
- Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production schedule
- Manage shipping schedule for on-time delivery
- Create and manage WIP report for tracking development
- Provide status reports to direct manager.
- EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE, applicators, Presses, hand tools, cutting, stripping machines, crimpers
- Partner with engineering team for product development approval
- Partner with engineering team for labor times
- Work hands-on with production workers on production builds and production drawing assessments
- Work hands-on with Quality Control to ensure all product meets 100% accuracy according to drawing and IPC620 standards
- Establish and maintain efficient workflow, remaining flexible to accomodate changing product requirements.
- Daily workorder closures, inventory maintenance and adjustments.
- Develop approved financial budgets for the facility and follow established guidelines.

Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, and electrical wiring practices.
- Knowledge of IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies to ensure quality compliance.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters and other testing devices.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving assembly of wire harnesses, electrical wiring, and mechanical components. Join us to lead innovative manufacturing solutions in the wire harness industry!

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
