We are seeking to hire a Laboratory Assistant to perform and assist with the following duties:
Observing and collecting urine/oral samples from male clients.
Noting the client's names, time of collection and reporting any positive screens for further testing.
Ensure that all patient paperwork and requisitions (hard copy and electronic) are filled out correctly and all necessary information has been noted at the time of the collection.
Enter patient data, ordered tests, and point-of-care results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Responsible for immediately reporting any incidents that would hinder the ability to successfully complete a collection to the technologist or clinical provider.
Adhering to confidentiality expectations and HIPAA compliance.
