Lucinda's Day Spa & Hair Studio is looking for a licensed Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to join our growing hair studio. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping to service a loyal clientele.
Our ideal candidate must be reliable, professional, and have a true passion for hair coloring, cutting, and styling. This individual should be eager to continue their learning/education and should be a self-driven person. Must work well with others and be open to a collaborative and supportive environment! We pride ourselves on providing high-quality luxurious services and are looking for someone who does the same! Proficiency with razor cuts, curly hair, and/or fashion coloring is a plus!
We offer: commission based pay (40-50% TBD based on experience) plus gratuities, flexible schedule, paid vacation/ PTO, health and dental available, 401K, 10% commission on all styling products sold, free parking for staff and clients, knowledgeable call center and reception staff to schedule your appointments and process all transactions, and continuing education. - Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experiences and increase salon revenue.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification required.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent sanitation practices and knowledge of health regulations related to beauty services.
