Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years plus of calibration, repair and troubleshooting of electronic test and measurement equipment experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and A2LA 17025 requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in electronic or engineering discipline preferred
- Strong knowledge in electronic test and measurement equipment repair and calibration
- Experience with software systems such as MET/TEAM, MUDCATS and other software
Responsibilities:
- Leads, directs, maintains, and delegates the workflow of the calibration or repair lab activities
- Ability to hold team accountable
- Works with the Management Team with regards to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System
- Sets up standards and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate test equipment and other instruments
- Interacts with external and internal customers to resolve issues related to products
- Assists technicians in testing, calibration, repair and evaluation of test equipment
- Performs daily quality approval of technicians work orders
- Manages and maintains lab inventory related issues
- Develops formulas and solves problems in measurement and calibration
- trains, mentors and guides technicians
- Insures laboratory capabilities remain current, compliant, and audit ready with approved methods of scope for ISO/IEC 17025
