Position: Junior Camp Counselor Salary: $12.77

What You’ll Do:
- Support lead counselors in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for campers by assisting with daily activities, games, and transitions throughout the day.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while building meaningful relationships with campers, staff, and parents.
- Help ensure camper safety and well-being by following camp policies, supervising participants, and communicating any concerns or incidents promptly to senior staff.
- Encourage camper participation and engagement by providing individualized support, helping resolve minor conflicts, and fostering a fun, welcoming atmosphere aligned with YMCA values.
What We’re Looking For:
- Be able to work from the week before camp begins for training to the end of the final week of the season
- 16+ years of age
- You’re down to be active, loud, creative, and present—all day, every day
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
- Able to pass a background check
