Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed to support smooth operations
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure prompt delivery of orders
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Personal Presentation is important!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail setting is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not mandatory
