Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and skid loader to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Perform inventory control tasks, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular counts.
- Engage in picking and packing activities, ensuring that packages are prepared accurately for shipment.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to manage inventory data and streamline operations.
- Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, contributing to overall production goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets and improve workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes is advantageous.
