Our ideal Lead Teachers are dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and guiding a cohesive teaching team, designing engaging lesson plans, and overseeing the daily operations of the classroom.
What You'll Do

Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.

Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and development

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about daily routines, progress, and other information

Ensure a healthy and organized classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones

Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
Requirements

Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play

High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

Able and willing to accept direction, feedback, and evaluation.

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience.

High School Diploma or GED

Strong understanding of child development.
-
Degree or certificate in an early education related field is recommended but not required.
